Our nonprofit partner Cat Town was established to take shy senior and other at-risk OAS cats from the shelter and place them in foster homes where they can thrive. Ann and Cat Town still work closely with Oakland Animal Services sharing the same core group of volunteers that are adept in identifying cats that would benefit from the environment provided by Cat Town.

When the fostered cats are ready they become available for adoption directly.

. Cat Towns mission is to transform the approach to saving shelter cats reducing euthanasia nationwide. Cat Town partners with Oakland Animal Services to identify the cats in most need. Those who are struggling with life in a cage who need extra medical care or require a little more patience to help them find their confidence.

Our focus is to find great homes for cats who are considered unadoptable in the traditional rescue model. Fosters provide love attention and a safe environment. Cat Town provides medical care vaccinations spay and neutering etc.

I have fostered quite a few cats and kittens for Cat Town. Our focus is to help shy senior and under-socialized cats get adopted. Cat Town is a nonprofit cat rescue dedicated to finding homes for Oaklands most vulnerable shelter cats since 2011 and operating Americas first cat cafe since 2014.

They remove cats from the Oakland Animal Services Shelter who are to be euthanized and place them in foster homes until they can be adopted. The foster coordinator has been super helpful and has provided all of the veterinary care. The following cats are waiting for you to foster them so they can have a better chance at adoption.

Cat Town provides supplies medical services and guidance and support. Cat Town began as a foster-based program in 2011 and in 2014 Ann launched Cat Town Cafe now Cat Town Cafe and Adoption Center in collaboration with Adam Myatt aka.
